Why isn't my card being accepted?

Your credit or debit card may have expired, reached its limit, or encountered a processing error. This can occur with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Google Pay, Shopify Pay, and other accepted payment methods. If you’re purchasing SanDisk memory cards, USB drives, or storage devices from TopSelect and experience this issue, please contact our customer support team at support@topselect.ca for assistance in verifying your payment and completing your order securely.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, Google Pay, and Shopify Pay for all orders. This applies to every product we sell, including SanDisk microSD cards, SD cards, CompactFlash cards, USB flash drives, external SSDs, and other storage solutions. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways to protect your information.

What address should I enter in the billing information screen?

For credit card verification, you must enter the exact billing address as it appears on your card statement. This ensures your order for memory cards, USB drives, or storage devices is processed without delays. Any mismatch can result in declined transactions or order holds for verification.

Can I place an order by email for my organization?

Yes. If your school, business, or government department needs to place an order manually, email support@topselect.ca with your product list and shipping address. We will create a draft order and send you a secure payment link.

Can I receive a formal invoice or receipt for accounting purposes?

Yes. A detailed invoice is automatically emailed after checkout. If your organization requires a custom invoice format or additional details (PO number, department name, etc.), contact support@topselect.ca.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes. Applicable Canadian taxes (GST/HST/PST) are calculated automatically at checkout based on your province or territory.

Are your products authenticated?

Yes, we purchase directly from authorized SanDisk distributors. All our products are 100% authentic, brand new, and covered by the official manufacturer warranty, ensuring you receive genuine SanDisk memory cards, USB flash drives, and SSDs — with zero risk of counterfeits.

Why Does the USB Drive or Memory Card Capacity in the Operating System Differ from the Label?

SanDisk and other storage manufacturers measure capacity using decimal values (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes), while operating systems measure capacity using binary values (1 GiB = 1,073,741,824 bytes). This results in your computer or device displaying slightly less capacity than stated on the packaging.

Example: A 128GB SanDisk Extreme microSD card is labeled with 128,000,000,000 bytes but will appear as approximately 119GB in your device.

Operating System Measurements:

  • 1 Kilobyte (KB) = 1,024 bytes
  • 1 Megabyte (MB) = 1,048,576 bytes
  • 1 Gigabyte (GB) = 1,073,741,824 bytes

Manufacturer Measurements:

  • 1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes
  • 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes

This is an industry-standard difference and does not indicate a defect.
