The switch is to activate/deactivate ead only mode

Works with no issues. Micro sd card fit perfectly. There is switch that some have incorrectly assumed is to lock the micro sd card preventing removal. The switch does not do that, but instead it puts the card into READ only mode, which will prevent any writing to the card. The data can't be altered. No adding nor deleting. This is great for preventing accidental formatting and deletion. Just toggle the switch to turn read only mode on or off.

Good stuff!

Arrived on time and in perfect condition! Would recommend seller based on that. I have not needed to use it because the micro sd card I purchased (separately) ended up coming with its own adapter. If I ever end up encountering an issue with it, I will update the review.
